The project concerns the development of a residential complex consisting of two dwellings in Voula, designed to serve the needs of an extended family.
It is a four-storey residential building with a basement and a shared staircase with an elevator.
The main concept for the organization of the building is the creation of two independent residences developed over four levels, forming two maisonettes, each with its own internal staircase.
The first maisonette is arranged on the ground floor and the first floor. The ground floor accommodates the living room, kitchen, and dining area, as well as a guest WC. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a laundry area, a kitchenette, and a shared living space functioning as a playroom.
The second maisonette follows a similar layout and is developed on the second and third floors. The basement houses auxiliary spaces, bathrooms, changing rooms, storage areas, mechanical rooms, and parking spaces.

The design of the outdoor areas focuses on maximizing the use of the southwest corner, creating spaces around which everyday activities unfold. The main surrounding outdoor area, shaped like a “Γ” (L-shape), effectively “embraces” the residence and consists of a large garden, a linear swimming pool, and an elevated outdoor dining area. Furthermore, to enhance the sense of continuity between interior and exterior spaces, a variety of architectural strategies are employed, such as pergola-covered areas, the presence of water elements through the swimming pool, and the almost level continuity between indoor and outdoor floor surfaces.
The ground-floor maisonette opens directly onto the garden, while the second-floor maisonette extends to the roof garden on the third floor.
The architectural form is simple and contemporary, characterized by strong horizontal lines and an enhanced sense of transparency achieved through large openings that run throughout the building. Compositionally, the residence is developed along the southeast–southwest axis, adjoining the northern boundary to provide protection, while emphasis is placed on exploiting the favorable southwest orientation, toward which all main openings are directed. At the same time, planted elements (planters) are incorporated on all balconies, integrating nature into the urban character of the building, shielding users from unwanted views, and providing natural shading.
