The objective of the project was the conversion of a single open-plan office space with a total area of 180 sq.m. into two separate apartments, one measuring 120 sq.m. and the other 60 sq.m. One apartment is designed to meet the needs of a four-member family, while the second is intended for rental use. Given the existing constraints—such as the existing structural system, the lack of plumbing infrastructure, and predetermined entrance locations—particular emphasis was placed on achieving the most efficient use of space. The subdivision of the interior areas was guided by the need to ensure freedom of movement, while balancing the integration of primary living spaces with the separation of private-use areas.

The first apartment consists of a large open-plan space that accommodates the kitchen, dining area, and living room, with their separation achieved through a three-panel sliding door. It also includes three bedrooms, one of which is the master bedroom featuring an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet. In addition, a second bathroom and a dedicated laundry room are provided.
The second apartment follows a similar design strategy and comprises an open-plan kitchen–dining–living area, one bedroom, and one bathroom.
The use of materials such as wood, marble, and grey-toned elements gives the interiors a contemporary and minimalist character. The selection of light and bright finishes and textures enhances the diffusion of natural light throughout the spaces, contributing to the creation of a warm and welcoming living environment.
